Gas Turbine Technician
The role of Gas Turbine Technician within our Military Maintenance Centre is to be fully
autonomous in carrying out level 1 to 3 Maintenance activities on the RTM322 Engine, within
the Safran Helicopter Engines (UK) European Maintenance Centre Hub workshop. Working as
part of the team to high Quality standards whilst maintaining the required Turn Around Times to
achieve customer satisfaction.
What will I be doing?
• Carry out accurate reports on the condition of the engine on induction to identify the work
scope required to return the engine to a serviceable state. Liaising with the Technical Support
Representative and Service Engineer as required.
• Create, maintain and certify the Engine work pack to include all the technical documentation
throughout the intervention to standards defined in SafranHE maintenance documentation
including ;
o Dissasembly/Clean/Inspection/Build sheets,
o SB/GOLDesp/Scheduled inspection forms,
o Consumable parts and Calibrated tool records,
o Technical Maintenance report,
o MOD Form 731 and Certificate of Conformity.
• Ensure all modules and parts are ordered in a timely manner to maintain the required TAT.
• Carry out the maintenance activities on the Engine or Module in accordance with the Safran
HE maintenance documentation, policies and procedures.
• Carry out secondary duties as defined by his/her Manager.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, working practices and take
responsibility for implementation.
• Achieve on time delivery of engines
• Strive to achieve corporate TAT targets
• Maintain a high consistency of quality standard output
• Produce accurate engine reporting and release documentation
Travel specifictity Occasional offsite activity to support customer at main operating bases.

Candidate skills & requirements What do you need from me?
• Recognised apprenticeship or higher education in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years mechanical engineering experience post apprenticeship
• MRP 145 knowledge
• Gas Turbine maintenance Experience
• Borescope inspections of Gas Turbine engines
